If every Catholic in America gave an hour per week to end abortion, the killing would be outlawed sooner than we could imagine.

As a full-time pro-life missionary, I have always wanted to inspire more Catholics to be committed to efforts to rescue children from abortion. The Church, especially in America, could do so much more to end the daily deaths of 125,000 children (2,300 in the US). There are so many American Catholics who have never even prayed at an abortion facility, and even many who support legalized abortion. I have witnessed such a great need to educate and involve Catholics in public pro-life activism that can change hearts, bring healing, save lives. I have also realized a great need to saturate pro-life activism with the fullness of God's grace through the sacraments and the Church's teachings and devotions, foremost the Eucharist and Mary's intercession. Without these, we will not be able to end abortion. Guided by the Holy Spirit, my wife Anna and I have sought to form a lay apostolate that could do both.

After Anna and I prayed and discerned for years how best to involve more Catholics in the pro-life movement and how to infuse the movement with all the Church has to give us, God's providence (I would say miraculously at times) seemed to perfectly allow Catholics for Life to form as an initiative of LifeMinistriesUS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded by Fr. Stephen Imbarrato in 2016. Founded today, January 1st, 2021, the feast of Mary Mother of God, Catholics for Life now works to form Catholic missionaries for life-saving activism that is centered on the one, true faith. With family members and other Catholics, we will work not only to train people but to lead regular public outreaches two days per week. Our hope, if it is God's will, is that this ministry will extend far beyond Columbus, OH and that local chapters will be started at churches, schools, campuses, and cities in many areas spreading the Gospel of Life.

Our ministry is dedicated to Our Lady, the Immaculate Conception, Patroness of the United States of America, asking for her intercession to save lives and bring souls into the saving relationship with Her Son Jesus Christ in His Holy Catholic Church. We want our team to also hold a special devotion to  Our Lady of America, an apparition approved by bishops for private devotion.

With Our Lady's intercession, we rely on God's grace to end abortion while working for the salvation of souls.

Our projects include:

• Sidewalk counseling and rosaries outside local abortion mills for Catholics to participate in twice per week

• Pro-life street outreach and  Catholic street evangelization in urban areas or on college campuses weekly

• Eucharistic processions to abortion facilities

• Presentations for parishes, youth groups, adults groups, families, and more

• Multi-day training events including pro-life outreaches, sacraments, and prayer

• Overseeing pro-life clubs at high schools and universities

• A future bus pilgrimage to the March For Life

• And hopefully much more, God-willing!

As Anna and I have gone through the process of creating Catholics for Life, I have come to realize more than ever before how great of a sinner I am.  None of this would be possible without God's grace and I only pray that He uses a sinner like me and this apostolate to glorify Himself according to His will. I owe so much to my wife, Anna, and all she has done to make this possible for our family as well as to my parents, siblings, niece and nephews, in-laws, friends, and so many others who have and will continue to help and guide me along the way. We cannot wait to see what Jesus and Mary accomplish with Catholics for Life as we enslave ourselves to Them! Please pray for our family and contact me to get involved!
