Gabriel Vance and his wife, Anna, founded Catholics for Life in 2021, by the grace of God, after seeing a need for more Catholics to be committed to defending the preborn as well as a need for pro-life activism to center around the fullness of the Catholic faith.
A life-long Catholic, Gabriel has lived in the Columbus, OH area his whole life. In high school, Gabriel worked to start several pro-life clubs at central Ohio schools through a group he founded, Crusaders for Life. He received his B.A. in Theology, from Ohio Dominican University in 2016, where he was the Vice-President of Panthers for Life. Gabriel was also the Director of External Affairs for Created Equal, an anti-abortion activism group based in Columbus, OH. For over six years, Gabriel traveled across the nation advocating for equal rights for preborn humans on university and high school campuses, busy downtown areas, and outside abortion facilities.
Gabriel has been married to his wife, Anna, since 2015. They have four children: Gabriel, Leo, Henry, and Mary Claire. As the first of sinners, Gabriel credits all he is, has, and does to the grace of God given through Mary.
After attending the the national March For Life since she was eight years old and countless other anti-abortion events with her devoted pro-life family, Rachael Rainer was inspired at the age of 14 to deepen her activism in the pro-life movement.
Rachael joined her first Justice Ride in 2018, with the anti-abortion organization Created Equal, traveling to different states advocating for equal right for preborn humans on university and high school campuses, busy downtown areas, and outside abortion facilities. She has participated in 5 Justice Rides from 2018-2021.
In 2020, she was called to do even more for the preborn and dedicated her summer to Created Equal’s internship, which equipped her with deeper skills and knowledge to defend the preborn and a undeniable call to do what she can to spread the evil truth of abortion and fight for the lives of the preborn.
A life-long Catholic, Rachael has lived in the Columbus, OH area her whole life. She is a parishioner of St. Patrick Church. Being homeschooled in high school was a blessing that provided her with the ability to put her extra time into things she finds most important, such as devoted time to her family, youth group, and pro-life work.
Rachael joined her brother Gabriel Vance, founder of Catholics for Life, in his ministry the first day it began. After graduating high school in the spring of 2022, Rachael came on part-time with Catholics For Life. Rachael entered into the sacrament of marriage with Michael Rainer in 2023.
Through God's grace, Rachael continues to defend the preborn; share the evil truths of abortion; be a voice of support and encouragement to mothers and fathers considering abortion, and spread the truth of Christ’s forgiveness and mercy available through His Catholic Church.
As the outreach assistant, Rachael will be sidewalk counseling twice weekly, leading street outreach and evangelism twice a month, and organizing Eucharistic processions to abortion facilities. She is working two days each week and needs to raise $1,000 of income each month. Learn more about partnering with Rachael and our mission to rescue children by supporting her with a monthly donation.
